L.A.’s South Bay hub has international culture, craft beer, and a mellow beach
Located in Southwestern part of Los Angeles County, Torrance covers roughly 21 square miles and has 1.5 miles of beaches. One of the most affordable South Bay cities, you can find many quaint neighborhoods, schools, shopping, 40 parks, 550 miles of sidewalks and the birthplace of AYSO Soccer.
The area is divided up in several areas with South Torrance and Walteria being the furthest south, West Torrance and Southwood to the west, North Torrance to the north, Harbor Gateway and County Stripe to the east and Old Torrance in the center. Torrance also has its own airport Zamperini Field located in the southern part of the city and renamed for the local Olympian sports legend and war hero Louis Zamperini. There is something for everyone in this vast city.
